Ceramics Community Scholarship

The Harvard Ed Portal and the Ceramics Program, Office for the Arts at Harvard, periodically offer a limited number scholarships for in-person ceramics instruction.  There are no new scholarship opportunities at this time.  The Ed Portal will announce the next round of scholarships in the summer of 2024. There is typically a high demand for this scholarship.

Scholarship Details

Application Deadline: Due to high demand, Spring 2024 awardees will be chosen via lottery.

Offered for: Any one, 12-week in-person course offered by the Ceramics Department for Spring 2024.

Eligibility: Due to high demand, Spring 2024 awardees will be chosen via lottery. Those eligible for the lottery fit the following criteria: currently live in the Allston-Brighton neighborhood of Boston, MA and applied for but did not receive a scholarship in 2022 or 2023.

Cost: The scholarship covers the cost of registration, clay, glaze, and 8,600 cubic inches of kiln firing for one session.

Partner: For almost 50 years the Ceramics Program has served Harvard and the greater community with its exciting educational offerings.
