Working with University partners, the Ed Portal offers more than 70 scholarships annually to Allston-Brighton residents and Ed Portal members in everything from continuing education, wellness, arts, and more.

Adult Scholarships


Offered for Allston-Brighton residents and Ed Portal members who are 18 years of age or older.

Extension School

Allston-Brighton Community Scholarships

Offered for any one, 4-credit course at the Harvard Extension School for noncredit, undergraduate, or graduate credit.

Ceramics Class

Ceramics Community Scholarship

Offered jointly with the Ceramics Program, Office for the Arts at Harvard, the scholarship covers one 10-12 week course at the Ceramics Studio.

Offered on a rolling basis, the HarvardX for Allston Scholarship helps recipients enhance career opportunities, explore an interest, or learn something new. 

Youth Scholarships


Offered for Allston-Brighton residents, students who attend the Gardner Pilot Academy, and Ed Portal members, who are younger than 18 years of age.

Soccer camp

Athletics Clinic Scholarships

Scholarships are offered in partnership with Harvard Athletics and vary by age level and sport each year.

Week-long summer science programs about a range of topics, including geology, animals, technology, and more!

Blodgett Pool

Swim & Dive Scholarships

Courses are offered for a variety of levels and are taught by members of the Harvard swimming and diving teams, under the supervision of the varsity coaching staff.
