Membership Benefits: Theater & Museums

Life of Pi stage production at the American Repertory Theater

American Repertory Theater

The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) provides community cards for Ed Portal members to purchase discounted tickets to select shows at the Loeb Drama Center throughout the year. Each card allows members to purchase up to four tickets to A.R.T. shows for $20 per ticket. Limit one card per family (four tickets total) per year. Members can pick up community cards at the Ed Portal’s front desk.

Harvard Museums of Science & Culture

The Harvard Museums of Science & Culture (HMSC) annually provides Ed Portal members two free passes, which can be picked up at the Ed Portal's front desk. Explore the Harvard Museum of the Ancient Near East, the Harvard Museum of Natural History, the Peabody Museum of Archaeology & Ethnology, or the Collection of Historical Scientific Instruments!

The Harvard Art Museums provides free admission to all visitors! More information about current exhibitions can be found on the Harvard Art Museums' website (plus information about making advance reservations which are available but not required).

Allston-Brighton Residents

With proof of residency, anyone who lives in Allston-Brighton can sign up for free Ed Portal membership.

Gardner Pilot Academy

Local Students

Students who attend the Gardner Pilot Academy, and members of their families, are eligible to become Ed Portal members.

Do you live outside Allston-Brighton?

Although Ed Portal membership requires that you be a resident of Allston-Brighton or attend the Gardner Pilot Academy, the Ed Portal offers a variety of programs, events, and resources for the general public.
