    Come build community with your fellow job seekers during an enriching and interactive session tailored specifically to you. This hands-on workshop will provide a fun and structured way to share micro-narratives. Through engaging small group conversations, you'll reflect and grow your awareness of your desires, strengths, and possibilities. You'll come away with a tangible next step and feedback to help you take inspired action.

    Insights you develop from this event will help you build a strong foundation for your job search portfolio (resume, LinkedIn profile, etc.) and job interviews.

    Becoming a Confident Leader: 4-part workshop series

    Repeats every week every Wednesday, 4 times .
    6:00pm to 7:30pm

    This is a 4-part workshop series. You MUST attend all 4 sessions. Attendance is limited to 30 people on a first come, first serve basis.

    Meeting dates: May 15, 22, 29, and June 5 from 6:00-7:30pm

    Target Audience: This course is designed for leaders and managers at any stage of their leadership journey whoare seeking a deeper understanding of their leadership style and aiming to boost their confidence.

    Objectives:

    • Uncover your leadership style and build your confidence as a leader.
    • Uncover and renew your values
    • Take part in a leadership strengths assessment
    • Communicate with influence, and continue developing your confidence through the development of your unique LDP (Leadership Development Plan)

     

    Weekly Agenda:

    1 - Your Unique Leadership Style: In the first week, we will explore the concept of leadership and delve into identifying your unique leadership style. We'll examine different leadership approaches and help you understand your strengths and preferences, empowering you to lead authentically.

    2 - Building Your Confidence to Lead:  During the second week, we'll focus on building confidence as a leader. You'll learn practical strategies to overcome self-doubt, embrace challenges, and cultivate a mindset that empowers you to take initiative and inspire others with confidence.

    3 - Communicating with Influence: In week three, we'll dive into the art of influential communication. You'll discover techniques to articulate your ideas clearly, engage with your audience effectively, and build strong relationships through impactful communication.

    4 - Creating a Leadership Development Plan + Local Lead Guest Speaker + Program Wrap Up: The final week will be dedicated to creating a personalized leadership development plan tailored to your goals and aspirations. We'll also have a guest speaker from the local leadership community sharing insights and experiences. Lastly, we'll wrap up the program, reflecting on your journey and setting the path for your continued growth as a leader.
