Topic: MassBioEd Life Sciences Career Hub & Workforce Programs
This week's presentation will include a brief overview of MassBioEd and careers in the Biotech Industry. MassBioEd will go through their Life Sciences Career Hub website and talk about the various resources available there, as well as their career coaching program. MassBioEd is recruiting for the Biomanufacturing Technician Apprenticeship program currently, which begins in early June. The presentation will include a description of the program and what a Biomanufacturing Technician does for their job. There will be a Q&A at the end, so come prepared to ask your questions!
About the presenter:
Corinne joined MassBioEd in 2021 and is now the Assistant Director for Workforce Programs. She focuses on recruitment and program management for MassBioEd’s Life Sciences Apprenticeship Programs. Corinne also does community outreach and supports communications with the organization. Prior to joining MassBioEd, she worked with the Museum of Science in Boston, where she coordinated early childhood programming and facilitated science learning for museum visitors.
