Fall art and theater to enjoy with Ed Portal member benefits

Enjoy some art and theater this fall with your Ed Portal member benefits! Opening November 4th, Salcedo: The Materiality of Mourning is a collection of recent sculptures and public art by Doris Salcedo depicting survivors and victims of political violence. Ed Portal members can get two free tickets to the Harvard Art Museum to see this exhibit and the dozens more.

Looking for more museum time? Visit Islands: Evolving in Isolation at the Harvard Museum of Natural History, open until November 6th. This exhibit explores some of the strangest species in the world, including woodpecker-like primates and flightless birds over six feet tall. You can also visit the Peabody Museum’s Ocarinas of the Americas, a bilingual (English and Spanish) multisensory exhibit featuring 80 exquisite instruments excavated from Central America and Mexico. Contact the Ed Portal for tickets to these museums.

Ed Portal members can also enjoy the benefits of community cards to the American Repertory Theater, which allow you to purchase up to four tickets for a show for only five dollars each. Be sure to check out James and the Giant Peach, a family show running December 17-31.
