Start off your summer with movement in this 4-week Barre Series. Open to all levels, this program focuses on using body weight and light weights to strengthen, sculpt, and tone. Barre workouts are a fun and effective way to break a sweat and feel good. Come to one or all four sessions! No experience or equipment needed.

### Summer Yoga at the Ed Portal 

 

Join us for a series of four free lunch hour in-person intermediate yoga classes at the Harvard Ed Portal! Led by Taryn Burns, these sessions will build on foundational yoga skills with intermediate level-poses, sequences, and a deeper focus on breath. Modifications will be available for yogis of all skill levels. Come to one session or all four. Leave feeling centered and more confident in your practice.

### Outdoor Yoga Series 

 

**Yoga in the Common** returns this summer as [Yoga in the Common at the Brighton Farmers Market](/farmers-market-programming "Farmers Market Programming") on select Wednesdays, monthly, from 5:15-6:15p.m with instructor Taryn Burns. Stretch, build flexibility, and find your zen through poses and movement designed for all skill levels. Please bring your own yoga mat, blanket, or towel.

### Meet Taryn Burns 

 

Her yoga philosophy is rooted in tradition and has been molded by experiences, on and off the mat. As an athlete, former corporate manager, and continuous high performer, she understands that burnout is real. By creating prescriptive programs, she has helped others experience the benefits of true, personalized practice. Training: B.S. Human Development &amp; Family Sciences (Oregon State University), 500eRYT (Michele Loew), Yoga Nidra (Michele Loew), Yoga for Athletes (Sage Rountree), Yoga as Therapeutics (Doug Keller), VInyasa Krama (Rod Stryker), Samkhya Philosophy (Dr. N. Ganesh Rao), Restorative (Alex Bauermeister + Brenna Matthews).

Ed Portal Members

### Harvard Athletics Tickets 

 

**Harvard Ed Portal members** have the opportunity to experience the excitement of Harvard athletic games by receiving up to **four free tickets** to select games!

To receive free tickets, indicate your interest by filling out an online form for the game(s) you would like to attend. You must complete a separate form for each game. Free tickets are available only to active Ed Portal members, must be reserved in advance, and will be emailed to you approximately three days before the game. Tickets are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis—don’t miss your chance to be part of the gameday energy!

##  Harvard Athletics Scholarships

In partnership with Harvard Athletics the Harvard Ed Portal offers scholarships for a variety of summer athletic camps to youth members from Allston-Brighton. Scholarships vary each year by age group and sport and are awarded through a lottery system.

##  Summer Access to Harvard's Blodgett Pool 

In partnership with Harvard University Athletics, Ed Portal members receive free summer access to Harvard's Blodgett Pool, located in the Murr Center at 65 N. Harvard Street, Allston.

**Pool access is now closed, come back next year for more information!**
