Understanding Behavior Styles for Allston-Brighton Residents

Tuesday, March 20, 2018, 9:00am to 2:00pm

Harvard Ed Portal, 224 Western Ave., Allston

People skills provide the basis for effective communication; they raise awareness of our own behavior and help build the experience required to recognize and utilize the strengths of others. Understanding the behavior styles of yourself and others helps enhance communication with potential employers and grow networking skills in a positive and effective way.

In this workshop, you will complete the Effectiveness Institute’s Behavior Styles Assessment and gain an understanding of the relationship between your beliefs, perceptions, and behaviors in order to identify your individual behavior style.

Please note: You must be a resident of Allston-Brighton or be the parent/guardian of a student who attends the Gardner Pilot Academy to attend this course.

Facilitated by Sharon Edwards, Brandywine River Consulting. Sharon has over 30 years-experience in Leadership and Organizational Development. In 2002, Sharon founded Brandywine River Consulting, a consulting and training firm that helps companies build organizational capability through pragmatic leadership development programs and talent management systems.

The Effectiveness Institute serves the development needs of organizations across industries by offering tools, programs and services that provide measurable performance improvement in teams, institutions and leaders.
