Teleport with your sketchbook to the Harvard Ed Portal on July 29 for **Sugar-Bright: Vintage Doodle & Draw**, a free cartooning workshop with Allston-based creative team **Ansis Puriņš & Blipblipbeep**. Go behind the scenes of their new mural, *All This, All at Once*, as they share how it grew from tiny doodles to a towering city of creatures, critters, and hot dog characters. Then dive into hands-on cartooning with provided materials as you sketch from a wild lineup of vintage toys and classic cartoon icons, try playful exercises like blindfold drawing, and design a character of your own. No prior experience necessary—just curiosity, a willingness to get messy, and an appetite for ice cream sandwiches. Adults and supervised kids ages 13+.
