Join us for a special evening with artist Yi Cynthia Chen in celebration of her solo exhibition *Reaching through Fog: Opaque Paintings by Yi Cynthia Chen*. The reception will feature an intimate conversation between Chen and guest speaker Danni Shen, Senior Curatorial & Public Programs Assistant at the Carpenter Center. Together, they will explore the layered meanings behind Chen’s dreamlike paintings—works that blur the boundaries between the visible and the unseen, the real and the imagined.

Come experience the exhibition, hear directly from the artist, and engage in a thoughtful discussion about art, perception, and quiet visibility
