Please join us at the Harvard Ed Portal’s Crossings Gallery to celebrate the opening of Changing Allston. Curator Eva Payne and several of the artists showing pieces will be in attendance to discuss the work and ideas that went into the exhibition.
Crossings Gallery’s exhibition, Changing Allston will reflect on the ways in which the neighborhood has changed over the last century, and how it continues to change even now.
Changing Allston is curated by Eva Payne, a historian and curator earning her PhD. in Harvard’s Program in American Studies. Payne has worked on exhibitions of fine art including the Harvard Art Museums’ recent Corita Kent and the Language of Pop, as well as exhibitions of historical objects and archival materials.
The exhibition opens during the Friday's Farmers' Market at the Harvard Ed Portal. Enjoy fresh products and live music at the market, and stay for the reception!
