Yoga Series at the Ed Portal


Whether you have been practicing yoga for many years, or if you have never even tried it, the Harvard Ed Portal’s Yoga Series offer participants of all skill levels the opportunity to experience mindfulness and relaxation.

Classes are held throughout the year with the most recent schedule updated and posted below. This program is free and open to the public. Walk-ins are welcome but advance registration is encouraged through Eventbrite.

More To Love Yoga
Whether you're brand new to yoga and want to learn the basics, or are interested in deepening your practice, More to Love ® Yoga will help you relax and feel comfortable in your body at any size. This 60 minute class offers practical pose variations so you feel supported while enhancing body acceptance. Each class weaves together holistic yoga practices alongside More to Love’s core message of body respect and empowerment, concluding with a body-loving relaxation.  

The class will be taught by Rachel Estapa, founder of More to Love, who is a certified Kripalu Yoga teacher and professional body image coach. Her work focuses on educating plus-size individuals on simple ways to enjoy health and wellness at any size.

Beyond Beginner Yoga
The Harvard Ed Portal is partnering with Harvard University’s Center for Wellness to offer a new Yoga Class for those ready to move beyond the basics, this class will offer more sophisticated sequences and poses. The class will draw upon various styles of flow yoga and integrate aspects of meditation to relax both the mind and the body. Appropriate modifications for all body types and levels of experience will be given, but some prior yoga experience is desired. Yoga mats, blocks,and straps will be available to use during class.
