    Jump start your New Year's resolutions at the Harvard Ed Portal! Join others in learning about the role of health, nutrition, exercise, and wellness in your daily life through the edX course Introduction to Health and Wellness. Each week will highlight tips to become a healthier you in 2017. Some weeks will also feature special guests, who will lead activities such as health screenings and mindfulness exercises. Topics include healthy food, sleep and its effects, physical fitness, and healthy weight. Free and open to the public.

    The Harvard Ed Portal is proud to present an info session for Creative City, a New England Foundation for the Arts (NEFA) grant-making program that funds public realm projects by Boston-area artists of all genres. This session is designed to help artists prepare applications and participants are welcome to bring project ideas and questions about the application process.

    An Evening with the Parker Quartet

    The Harvard Ed Portal is proud to present "An Evening with the Parker Quartet" on Thursday, February 2. The Grammy Award-winning Parker Quartet returns as part of a busy 2016-17 season for the group featuring appearances across the country and around the world. These virtuosic performers, currently serving as Blodgett Artists-in-Residence in the Harvard Music Department, are renowned as much for their dynamic interpretations of classical repertoire as for their excellence in musicianship. This event is free and open to the public, but is sure to fill up in advance!
