Job Seekers Connection energizes and motivates participants by teaching valuable career search strategies and techniques. You are invited to exchange job leads, business cards, resumes, networking techniques, and interviewing tips. The topics addressed each week are based on input from the group—so come prepared to articulate the kind of job you are seeking.

    Join the Harvard Ed Portal during April vacation week to design and paint a series of lamppost banners to be installed in Brighton Mills. Under the direction of local artist Ross Miller, students will brainstorm ideas, select designs, develop images, and paint the final graphic banners that will be on display until October! Look up, Allston! is open to high school students with a preference for Allston-Brighton residents and Brighton High School students. Students who complete the workshop will receive a stipend.

    Join the Harvard Ed Portal for the third annual Cultural Connections! This family-friendly event celebrates diverse Harvard student performances from singer-songwriter Avanti Nagral, Harvard's only mariachi band Mariachi Veritas, classical Indian dance troupe Harvard Deepam, the Harvard Chinese Music Ensemble! The evening will be emceed by Reylon Yount, a Grammy award-winning artist with the Silk Road Ensemble and 2016 Harvard College graduate. Dinner will be served before the show and attendees are encouraged to meet and get to know the performers after!
